How to Fix Kodak WiFi Printer Not Detected Problem?


Sometimes, you may face a few problems while printing any document using Kodak. One of the most common issue is the Kodak WiFi printer not detected. If you are troubled by this issue, you need to opt for some troubleshooting methods to solve it. Before applying any technique, make sure WiFi is working, and your printer is properly connected to the WiFi network.


Connect the Kodak wireless printer setup to a non-WPS router


You can connect your Kodak Printer to a non-WPS wireless router as this can resolve the Kodak WiFi printer not detected issue. Before applying any method to resolve the issue, ensure that your wireless router is turned on and is located within the range. For having a Kodak wireless printer setup, follow the steps given below:

  • Switch ON your wireless printer and press the Home button.

  • Navigate to Network Settings and open the WiFi Setup Wizard.

  • If any additional network appears on the screen, click on the upward or down arrow to check them.

  • Once you get your network name, select it.

  • Now, set a password if your network is asking for it. It is generally recommended to enter a case-sensitive strong Security String. After typing the security string, tap the OK button.

  • After that, you will receive a confirmation message on the screen and click the OK button.

After following the above steps, your printer will be successfully connected with your WiFi router. You can also run the Kodak wireless printer setup utility as an administrator. For this, follow the steps given below:

  • Go through Start > Programs > Kodak.3

  • Right-click on the Kodak printer setup utility, then select the Run as option.

  • From "The following user:" option, select the user name with an administrator-level account, and click OK.

  • Now, follow all the on-screen instructions.

If the error still exists, you need to disable your firewall or antivirus program.
